1. Agreement; Who We Are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the membership services offered by Paws Beyond Borders, LLC ("Paws Beyond Borders," "we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company (entity no. 202464516006). By creating an account or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Membership Program (Not Insurance)

Paws Beyond Borders, LLC operates a veterinary membership program, not an insurance product. Membership provides percentage-based coverage and instant savings at participating clinics subject to plan terms, annual caps, waiting periods, and eligibility rules. We do not guarantee the quality of veterinary care provided by independent clinics. Members are responsible for their own travel to clinics in Mexico. This program is not a policy of insurance and does not cover all veterinary expenses.

Paws Beyond Borders is a membership platform, not an insurance company. We do not sell insurance policies. Do not use insurance terms such as "policy," "deductible," or "claims" to describe our program.

3. Membership Services

We provide percentage-based coverage at participating veterinary clinics in Tijuana, Mexico. You may sign up for membership from anywhere in the United States; care is delivered only at clinics in our launch network in Tijuana unless we add locations in writing. One membership covers one pet. Coverage is applied at checkout at participating clinics, subject to your plan's coverage percentage, annual cap, waiting periods, and eligibility rules. Pre-existing conditions may be covered subject to waiting periods for certain procedure categories (consultation, wellness, illness, surgery, orthopedic). Members arrange their own travel to clinics; we do not provide or subsidize transportation.

4. Billing and Cancellation

Memberships are billed monthly at the standard plan rate shown at checkout. There is a 3-month minimum commitment. You may cancel after the minimum period; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

5. Use of Services

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You may not share your membership with others, falsify information, or use the service in a way that harms us, participating clinics, or other members. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Participating Clinics; Cross-Border Care

Veterinary care is provided by independent clinics in Mexico. Paws Beyond Borders facilitates membership verification, coverage calculation, and reimbursement to clinics for the covered portion of eligible visits. We are not responsible for the quality of care, licensing, or clinical decisions of any clinic. You are responsible for your own travel, border crossing, and decisions regarding your pet's care. Clinics listed on our website are part of our launch network; contractual participation may vary until formal agreements are executed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paws Beyond Borders is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or from veterinary care received at participating clinics. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for membership in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
